Prints: A Little Entertainment For The Eye

So, it has definitely been a while. Recently, I've found prints to be great especially for this time of year. They add a little splash of fun to an ensemble that could otherwise be dreary and fun is exactly what summer is supposed to be.

My favorite part of this ensemble is the green additions and big bow added to a simple black dress. The green shirt under a skimpy black dress shows that prep in fact, is back. The sandals give the impression that summer is looming. The bow draws you to how this whole outfit blends together to look easy, comfortable, and a tad summery.

The moment I saw this picture I was drawn to it. Maybe it was because I was envying this young lady for looking so cool in this warm weather. Or the way the chiffon flower somehow matched while not contrasting. At first I thought it was part of the blouse but it ends up being just a clip. Then I thought about how many uses one clip could have and how it was a delicate compliment and dressed up a simple blouse so much. Not only could it be used as a clothing accessory but as a hair accessory too.
